Title: Area Manager, Fulfillment Operations

Location: Grapevine, TX

Role Description:

As ShipBob's Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and developing a team of associates in our fulfillment center. You'll be heavily involved in driving process improvement, maintaining a safe work environment, and tracking performance/employee engagement. What you'll do:

Review the weekly work forecasts and identify productivity requirements to produce during the day to meet the overall building objectives.

Partner with other new Area Managers to balance labor ensuring we are operating a balanced and efficient shift while meeting all your goals.

Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates.

Proactively identify and run process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.

Manage a team of warehouse associates to fulfill the ShipBob mission of assisting our clients in growing their online success by delighting their customers, on a daily basis.

Responsible for ensuring teams are properly trained, and that their needs are addressed so they can focus on their jobs.

Comply to all food safety and compliance policies and regulations.

Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.

What you'll bring to the table:

2+ years of leadership experience.

Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, General Management or a related field, preferred.

Established track record of taking ownership and delivering results.

Basic understanding of Lean and Six Sigma.

Classification: Exempt

Reports to: Operations Manager

ShipBob believes in transparency while providing a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance approach. We are targeting a salary range of $47,829 - $78,169 for this role. The full base pay range for this position in our compensation architecture is $47,829 - $79,716.
