Warehouse Operator 1st Shift

Job Description

We are recruiting a Warehouse Operator to join our clients team in St. Charles for a powder paint company! Your position will focus on safe and efficient movement of products and materials.

Work Practices

Ship and receive product in a timely efficient manner

Prepare re-pack request orders and weigh products

Receive incoming transfers and process outgoing transfers o Stock inventory and process incoming paperwork

Organize necessary paperwork for freight carriers to pick up outgoing shipments

Pull daily orders from Customer Service Department and organize and prepare for shipping. Print shipping labels for customer service orders, UPS and individual outgoing boxeso Pull inventory, shrink wrap product and prepare pallet orders for shipping o Operate warehouse forklift and shrink wrap machine.

Use internal software programs to update incoming and outgoing products

Clean warehouse and affiliated areas

Performs other related duties as assigned

Quality Practices

Report discrepancies, abnormalities and problems to the Warehouse Supervisor

Regular, predictable, on-site attendance is an essential function of the job

Follow the requirements for ISO 14001 and 9001 systems

Repetitive lifting of up to 55 lbs

Exposure to dust, powder coating paint and noise

Wearing of a face mask for up to 8 hours
