ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Senior Director of Continuous Improvement drives and holds teams across the supply chain accountable to use quality, lean, six sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies, including overseeing the development, planning, and execution of strategies and metrics to track improvements.

The successful Senior Director, Cl has a depth of process improvement experience in manufacturing and supply chain in a GMP environment, including several years of experience leading and executing process improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma and other continuous improvement principles.

Additionally, this role requires hands-on knowledge of GMP manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, distribution, and engineering as well as experience as a Lean transformation leader with a broad cross functional background.

SPECIFIC RESPONSBILITIES:

Design and drive the execution of a value creation plan, a best-in-class continuous improvement strategy, and action plans across CPL to achieve the organization's financial and strategic objectives.

Be a thought leader within the Company in continuous improvement.

Partner with CEO, CFO and the Operations Head to development and implementation of the Capital Plan approved for each fiscal year. Drive ongoing refinement of the plan to maximize EBITDA

Originate, develop, and implement a best-in-class continuous improvement strategy. Implement change initiatives from efficiency identification through to project delivery via internal governance and controls.

Encourage and facilitate the open sharing of ideas across the organization to create a common and unified approach.

Communicate frequently and effectively to build a common continuous improvement culture.

Ensure that the Company's products, operations, and customer service exceed customer expectations by providing products on time, in full, in quality in the most cost-effective manner.

Establish a culture of excellence and ownership. Establish, implement, and memorialize best practice processes including but not limited to line set ups and change overs.

Drive a sense of urgency across the organization based on rigorous data driven decision making.

Chair weekly meetings with area heads and management to review achievements over the past week and goals for the coming week.

Deliver operational excellence and improvements to drive efficiencies and increase EBITDA.

Identify and deliver service improvement activity across the business through process improvement methodologies and the application of innovative thinking.

Work with the ET and senior leaders to build a continuous improvement environment to support an ongoing program of change.

Lead and facilitate LEAN/process improvement projects to drive solutions in Operations, Supply Chain, Quality (QA/QC) and PDS.

Deliver better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes and better, faster, cheaper ways of working without compromising quality.

Work with ET to create and Implement S&OP which will be measured by monthly attainment of KPls.

Identify trends and process variations as part of establishing a continuous improvement monitoring system.

Ensure that all operations exceed regulatory and customer standards for quality, EH&S and other applicable regulations.

Foster a culture and organization that promotes entrepreneurial, collaborative, and results-oriented mindset.

Lead transformational change management. Help the CEO drive the understanding of why new approaches and processes are needed in the face of underperformance.

In collaboration with the ET, develop a cadence of communicating operational performance of the organization to drive alignment, accountability, and employee engagement to achieve our financial and operational targets.

Develop and implement a lean operating system that incorporates a continuous improvement.

Partner effectively with the CEO, ET and Board.

Communicate openly and credibly; operate with candor, transparency, and collaboration at all levels.

Provide accurate and timely reporting and metrics; communicate both good and bad news in a timely manner.

Be a true partner in developing a compelling growth strategy for the company.

Be open to ideas, new approaches and outside assistance in select areas.

Craft and communicate both a long-term & short-term vision and capital plans for each site which is aligned with and fulfills the relevant objectives outlined in the strategic plan the Company.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience working in and complete understanding of a GMP manufacturing environment.

Bachelor's degree in business administration, process management, operations, industrial engineering, or engineering management. Preferably, a graduate degree in engineering, business or an MBA concentrating in Business Administration, Economics, Project Management, Accounting/Finance.

1O+ years of experience in process optimization, operations, and business management.

Must have minimum 2-3 years Director Level experience

Advanced skills in the use of data management tools to monitor progress toward goals.

Certifications in continuous improvement focused areas including a lean six-sigma black belt.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
