We are seeking a Project Manager to join our diverse and talented team.

Position Overview: The Project Manager will provide a full range of program management activities to support the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Administration for Children and Families (ACF) Office of Community Services (OCS) with the staffing needs for their entire program.

The PM will be responsible and accountable for the outcomes of this project, coordinating programmatic and financial elements of all services provided.

This position will act as a thought leader and be responsible for providing technical oversight and guidance for all contractor personnel and will closely monitor the work of contract staff to ensure quality and follow through for the client.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of the project, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.

Manage and maintain interface with the senior levels of the customer’s organization.

Consult with customers and personnel to formulate and review tasks, plans, and deliverables, ensuring conformance with project task schedules, costs, and contractual obligations.

Ensure a pool of highly qualified candidates to staff multiple functional areas of support requested by client.

Responsible for all reporting requirements of the Performance Work Statement (i.e. programmatic and financial reports).

Provide advice, organization, planning, direction, and management of contractor staff to ensure that goals and objectives of the project, as well as, problem resolution and customer satisfaction, are accomplished within prescribed timeframes.

Manage multi-functional project development work by identifying critical path activities and facilitating collaboration of technical and operational experts as required to drive progress forward.

Develop and maintain project management plan, drive schedule, identify, and mitigate project risks, facilitate collaboration of multi-disciplinary specialists, and generate project documentation, metrics, decision papers and reporting.

Perform quality assurance checks on project artifacts and deliverables.

Collaborate and consult with internal and external stakeholders to identify and implement best practices

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience in project management

Knowledge of, and experience with HHS ACF and/or social service programs, or experience supporting grants and programs for low-income families and communities

Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Visio and SharePoint

PMP Certification preferred

U.S. Citizenship required
