Main Task
Managing of operational distribution business and providing solutions to internal and external stakeholders
Driving short-term commercial and operational optimizations
Monthly volume planning and approval of contract call-offs
Managing Tank inventory
Providing monthly contract pricing to internal and external customers
Acts as coordinator and facilitates resolution should any shipment issues arise (including pricing, shipping delays, invoicing, customs, quality, quantity, etc.)
Facilitates communication across the internal and external stakeholder groups. Proactively provides solutions to time-sensitive needs in a composed manner
Coordinating inbound and outbound vessel activities from the US Gulf including coordinating inventory with HELM subsidiaries, streamlining laycans, arranging vessel loadings, etc.
Analyzing, evaluating, and optimizing logistics infrastructure together with the Logistics team
Ethylene Glycols Rail Car Fleet
Ethylene Glycols Tank Infrastructure
Ethylene Glycols Transloading Sites
Managing spot freight requests for RTCs and TT together with the Logistics and Supply Chain Team and coordinating communication with external partners
Participate in the determination of the general local and regional (long/short) product strategy in cooperation with the Regional Manager Americas as well as the Global team and communicate this to the HELM companies in the Region Americas
Managing Monthly Supplier Reconciliation
Align with the Commercial Team on Monthly Spot Pricing and communicate this with the Sales Team
Managing sample and Quality Management requests
Work with the team to conduct root cause analyses, communicate improvement recommendations, and resolve escalations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field
Four years of experience in operations management or a similar role in the relevant industry
Expertise with industry-standard software for operations management (e.g., ERP systems)
Proficiency in supply chain and logistics operations
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders
