PRODUCTION KITCHEN COOK / COMPOUNDER

Opening for 1st Shift 7a-330p

JOB

Creates, cooks and blends product from formulas to be made for packaging

Maintains proper process and controls as determined by quality department

Ensures that batches are made correctly and on time so that it can be packed efficiently

Conducts and leads CIP and COP

Operates all equipment safely as needed for each process, including LOTO

Ensures proper formulas are followed

Leads and maintains pre-kitted ingredients

Collaborates with other department Leads to maintain/adjust batch schedule as needed

Performs tests and monitors processes

Works with Quality team to test sample product

Keeps all informed of problems and issues with batches that may affect production

Works closely with mechanical teams if problems arise and ensure work orders are submitted for all mechanical issues.

Ensures product safety through proper following of sanitation and cGMP procedures

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Routinely lift up to 50lbs (heavy duty work)

Read and write in English

Proficient basic math skills

Detail oriented and organized
