General Foreman

Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors on site.

Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.

Monitor project progress, including daily work schedules, quality of work, and adherence to timelines.

Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues or potential delays.

Manage and allocate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.

Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.

Maintain accurate records of daily work activities, progress reports, and site conditions.

Enforce safety protocols and conduct safety briefings to ensure a safe working environment.

Provide training and mentorship to construction staff to enhance their skills and performance.

Address any conflicts or concerns on site promptly and professionally.

Requirements: Proven experience as a General Foreman or in a similar supervisory role in construction.

Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.

Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in using construction management software and Microsoft Office suite.
