Join the excitement of a dynamic company committed to providing exceptional neurological rehabilitation to adults who have sustained traumatic brain injuries. We are searching for full-time and part-time Life Skills Trainers to work in our residential programs located in Glenshaw, PA.

Responsibilities

Direct Support Professional Responsibilities:

Provides minimum to maximum assistance with all areas of activities of daily living (ADL's).

Promote our clients’ success in daily living tasks, recreational activities, vocational pursuits, medication management, and physical and cognitive activities.

Accompanying clients to appointments, in the community and and other outings as assigned

Candidates must be comfortable working with a variety of medically complicated and behaviorally challenged clients

Qualifications

Direct Support Professional Qualifications:

A minimum of a HS Diploma/GED required (associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred)

Must be at least 18 years of age

Valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained

Competence in writing, planning, organization and documentation

Time management skills

The ability to communicate with families, professionals and co-workers

The ability to demonstrate positive client interaction skills

***Diplomas from non-U.S. educational institutions must include professional documentation/evaluation that the non-U.S. educational program is equivalent to or exceeds U.S. educational requirements; documentation is required prior to becoming an employee
