Entry Level Field Tech Position

100% On-Site role

All locations/buildings are on one campus

3 Month Contract

Job Details:

· Onsite support in internet installations and password set-up

· Provide “White Glove” service to the end user community

· Work on a team to perform tests that network connections are working and show end users how to access

· Report and receive directions from a TEKsystems Team Lead

· Report hours worked each day to TEKsystems Team Lead

· Provide daily reports to TEKsystems Team Lead of what was completed. - Tracking end users completed each day - Documenting any issues to be escalated or that were resolved

· Any other reporting as needed to track productivity, etc.

· Able to communicate computer and printer connectivity issues for end users

· Prior experience resolving basic wireless connectivity issues

· Experience managing a workload/schedule that requires you to travel to multiple areas of a large facility throughout the day and accurately document within an Excel worksheet.

· Must be fluent in English and able to communicate well with others.

· Must have reliable transportation to/from the work site so that person is on time for work by 8:00am local time.

· Should not have a second job that conflicts with working Monday thru Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm local time.

· Competency in MS Excel with ability to create spreadsheets and formulas to track data entry.

· Knowledge of MS Teams to participate in calls and send messages.

· Knowledge of computer hardware and software dealing with WiFi and network connectivity
