Cell Site Technician

Description:

TEKsystems is looking for 4 traveling cell site technicians. These technicians will be installing cell site batteries, running fiber optic cable, and performing maintenance on generators/batteries/rectifiers. This will be 100% travel work, but some jobs will be closer than others. The majority of the work is in the Tennessee and Carolina areas. There will be night and day work depending on the site.

Utilize test gear and approved procedures to integrate and repair cell site network hardware to include base stations, tower lighting systems, battery backup systems, and antenna systems

Top Skills Details:

Fiber Experience – Testing (OTDR), Installing, Trouble shooting

PC Skills - working with Provisioning Logs / Command Lines to test fiber

Prefer someone with experience on Verizon and Dish sites

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must have Osha 10

Cannot be scared of heights.

Self starter, hard workers, people that don't complain and do what it takes to get the job done.

Must have tools
