The firm specializes in new constructions for division 5 - metals that range from high rise and mid-rise buildings to commercial and residential properties, including resorts, hospitality venues, and municipal structures. Their expertise lies in engineering, manufacturing, powder coating, and installation of glass and lateral rail systems, metal railings, perforated panels, storm panels, and other applications. They source their own materials and are known for their dedication to internal growth and development.

Job Description:

We are recruiting for an Estimator/CAD Detailer who will be pivotal in producing detailed cost estimates and high-quality CAD drawings for a variety of metals trade projects. This individual will play a key role in the entire project lifecycle from estimation to completion and is crucial to the successful execution of projects.

Responsibilities:

Perform detailed cost estimates and prepare bid documents for various metals trade projects, including new constructions, renovations, and other applications.

Generate accurate, detailed CAD drawings for the manufacturing and installation of railings, panels, and other metal applications.

Review architectural plans and conduct take-offs to determine the necessary scope of work and required materials.

Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of project estimations and drawings.

Assist in the creation of shop drawings and understand the entire project design and construction process.

Visit job sites as needed to assess conditions, collect information, and monitor construction progress for accurate estimation and detailing.

Continually develop professional knowledge and skills in line with the latest industry trends and standards.
