Job Description
Job Summary:
A Line Supervisor is responsible for monitoring daily production processes, personnel, and regulatory compliance. Their duties include set-ups, changeovers, maintaining production and management of personnel. The Line supervisor is responsible for following GMPs and will report to the Production manager.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Monitors daily production and line personnel for compliance.
· Have materials ready for Line changeovers, monitor time and production runs.
· Able to retrieve correct labels, caps and needed material to achieve finished product.
· Quality control checks on products in production “labels, sauces, bottles, caps, nitrogen and printers.”
· Assure all machinery is maintained and is run in the most efficient manner.
· Work areas should be kept clean and ensure proper sanitation procedures are conducted.
· Responsible for screen inspections between line changeovers.
· Troubleshoot equipment issues and adjust accordingly.
· Crosstrain line workers in all positions possible to run efficiently.
· Notify Manager when supplies used are getting low.
· Must have ability to resolve minor issues related to line personnel and production.
· Enforce the decisions, GMPs, rules and regulations established by the company, facility, and department manager.
· Report task progress and delays to the Manager periodically during the day.
· Verify all required HACCP, and production documents are completed every day.
· Work with other line supervisors to ensure the successful completion of line changeovers and breakdowns.
· Verify all pallet counts are correct before daily production sheets are turned in.
· Confirm sauce formulas are turned in daily.
· Pressure wash and lock up plant on your assigned week.
· Performs other duties as requested by Manager.
· Assist in plant inventory.

· Proficient in basic arithmetic.
· Work with others in a team building setting.
· Ability to resolve personnel conflict as needed.
· Capable of multi-tasking and working in a changing work environment.
· Detail oriented.
· Receive and communicate clear instructions.
· Maintain safe work area.
Education/Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· Experience in production setting preferred/required.
· On-the-job training provided.
Physical Requirements:
· Lifting 50lbs max occasionally.
· Standing for an extended period.
