Reports to: Office Manager, Shelby Specialty Glove

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for performing customer service activities, order entry, sales support, and periodic reports for Division President.

Normal work schedule will be approximately 7:30 am to 4:30pm- 3 days per week.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Attend to customer needs regarding product information, product availability and processing of sample requests

Receive, enter, and process customer orders; import purchasing

Coordinate order information with warehouse to ensure delivery of products

Communicate backorder and order status information to customers

Provide sales support to outside sales representatives

Assist with general internal office maintenance to include answering multi-line phone system

Update and maintain product specification sheets, to include weekly and monthly spread sheets

Creating reports for Division President

Train other customer service specialists

Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

Knowledge of: Basic telephone, general office, math/accounting, and customer service procedures; basic computer operations, SAP, word processing and spreadsheet programs.

Ability to: Read, write, perform basic research, compose, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, handle multiple tasks, follow directions, and work safely in an office environment. Must be able to prioritize work, have strong time management skills and utilize computers for email communications, word processing and spreadsheet software.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Office 100%; some lifting, up to 30 pounds.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A. Education (preferred level) High School Graduate or Equivalent; 2 years college a plus.

B. Knowledge/Experience/Skills: Employee must be able to read and write legibly, have good organizational skills and be detail oriented. Must be capable of sitting for extended periods of time. The ability to communicate effectively and work independently is extremely important. Should have experience of office equipment such as computer terminals, copier, calculator, fax and typewriter. SAP experience is highly preferred.Company Description
