CUSTOMER ACCOUNT SPECIALIST-Princeton, NJ

CHEMRES

CHEMRES is a fast paced, growth oriented global supplier of commodity and engineering resins seeking a Customer Account Specialist in Princeton, NJ to support continued growth. The Customer Account Specialist is responsible for complete order management, quoting, material sourcing, shipping, delivery, forecasting, supply chain management, relationship building and inventory management. The successful applicant will have strong interpersonal skills, project management abilities, and proven organizational and multi-tasking skills. A background in chemistry, polymer science or other engineering discipline will prove valuable to this position due to the technical nature of specialty compounding and formulations.

Job Description:

• Respond to and manage customer orders from order entry to delivery and invoicing.

• Develop strong relationships with all assigned accounts

• Manage inventory requirements of all accounts

• Coordinate all customer inquiries, evaluate pricing, process orders, set up shipments and track deliveries.

• Build strong working relationships between customer service team, engineering team, sales and

accounting

• Prepare detailed sales and inventory forecast information based on customer orders and

anticipated sales

• Use a variety of systems to enter and complete order transactions.

• Prepare quotes for customers and manage all follow up activities

• Resolve product and service issues

• Provide new business development support

• Source materials, locate vendors, and negotiate pricing and terms as needed

• Follow up with accounting on any damages, credits or return.

• Prepare executive summaries for internal executive team

• Create and execute a plan to increase revenue with assigned accounts

• Other duties and tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:

• **A minimum of a 4-year college degree. ** Technical or accounting degree strongly preferred

• Experience in shipping logistics, or supply chain management preferred

• Strong organizational, math, reasoning, analytical, and problem solving skills

• Very strong computer skills

• Excellent oral and written communication and attention to detail

• Strong initiative, follow-up, sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure

• High energy, self-starter
