Driver Class A or B or C with passenger endorsement

Job Description

We are seeking a Driver CDL-Class A or B with passenger endorsement to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating bus or van with passengers to and from their home and to appointments.

Responsibilities:

The Driver is responsible for assisting and safely transporting participants to and from the center and their residence.

Must demonstrate knowledge of the routes used in transporting clients and of the roadways in the client service area.

Safe assistance and transportation of clients

Properly track and document activity log

Report any issues or incidents to Administrative Office

Inspect truck before and after trip

Daily cleaning of interior of the vehicle

Handling of emergencies en-route until emergency assistance arrives at vehicle

Responsible handling of participant's personal belongings and medications

Qualifications:

Must have a high school diploma and a New Jersey State driver's license with no more than 3 points on driving record.

Must provide STARS with DMV Abstract.

Prior experience in transportation of the elderly and/or physically/mentally challenged persons preferred.
