Job Description
We are looking for an SAP Architect to support the current MyTrack TAR project with the Integration team.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
As an ideal candidate you would have the skills and experience to provide practical application of techniques and tools in the integration discipline, being able to demonstrate how to “think out of the box” to solve challenging business objectives delivering quantifiable business benefits in an efficient manner.
The team is small but we have a good network of partners that support us in delivering quality business solutions quickly. We are looking for an experienced hybrid integration architect that is results and delivery driven who can work with the business and either directly or through our third-party partners deliver innovation into our programme of work.
As part of the technical team, you will need to be able to cover strategy, architecture and help drive delivery by supporting the projects and collaborating with key stakeholders but also be very hands-on as you will be responsible for delivering tangible solutions either directly or leveraging our partner services.
It is important to have the ability to communicate effectively in a variety of situations, and work with a range of international internal and external stakeholders, as well as being autonomous, a logical thinker with a thorough and organised approach and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
EXPERIENCE:
Proficient hands on SAP (preferably S4 Hana), SAP CI, SAP out of the box API’s with emphasis on SAP Procurement features. Any experience in SAP Lean Procurement is a significant bonus.
Design and deliver the necessary system to system integrations to deliver the business outcomes
Delivery of architecture and solutions in partnership with other technical groups & Partners.
Any exposure to manufacturing plant (any type) maintenance activities is a bonus but not essential
Creating architectural material that capture the business outcomes enabled through to the “as-built” documentation to preserve decisions and delivered solutions in detail
Helping to maintain the integrity and security of the company’s integration services
Excellent First-hand experience and proven track record in the following areas
Implementing and utilising premium middleware solutions, especially SAP CI
Delivery of successful business outcomes through the delivery of appropriate and enduring integration
Delivery of good (appropriate) architectural documentation
Practical delivery management experience (at any scale)
As technical skills we look for candidates managing frameworks like DoDAF, TOGAF, Zachman and/or MODAF. Experience with SAP Cloud Integration solutions, SAP standard API’s, SAP (preferably S4 Hana).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with project stakeholders to decompose problem statements and design practical, valuable technical solutions.
Work closely with key business stakeholders to understand the end to end business outcomes and considerations to be achieved through the integration.
Work closely with appropriate partner organisations to deliver to an agreed integration design.
Design of innovative integration monitoring framework and supporting solution(s) to enable monitoring and measurement of the delivered business capability
Ensuring the integration design encompasses all key elements necessary for service management adoption.
Communication and presentation of technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, internal and external.
Drive delivery to compressed project timescales that, although achievable, will require taking on some of the tasks more usually associated with project management
Delivery of high quality supporting documentation through a peer review and signoff process
This is a hybrid position but expect to spend significant time in the USA Texas region. There is a preference for candidates that are within a 2 hour commute (each way) from Beaumont Texas USA.
