Base salary (Commensurate with experience)

Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance for provider and family (begins on first day of employment)

Sign-on bonus of up to $75,000 or Mortgage Subsidy up to $75,000

Loan repayment through the NHSC Position Summary:

We are seeking for Family Medicine physicians or advance practice providers (NPs or PA’s) to provide medical care in our mobile units. The medical mobile unit provider will provide acute care, preventative care, and general primary care services in the mobile unit across Kern or Fresno counties. The candidate must demonstrate experience working in a diverse environment, be flexible, knowledgeable, and compassionate towards the care of our patients. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a warm, caring atmosphere where the health of our patients is of top priority.

Essential Functions:

Adheres to the highest standards of medical ethics at all times.

Assures quality of care for all patients at all times and regularly participates in clinic Peer Review and Quality Assurance Programs.

Adheres to and complies with Bureau of Primary Healthcare standards of clinical practice.

Shares in phone-triage responsibilities with other CSV physicians.

May represent CSV in professional groups or community events.

May assist the Chief Medical Officer in design, implementation, and evaluation of health care programs/protocols for patients and staff.

MD-DOs only: Required to supervise advance assigned practice providers (Nurse practitioners’ and/or Physicians Assistant's) on- site and by telephone with outlying clinic sites.

On a scheduled basis may be required to work at any satellite facility in person or virtually.

Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Professional clinical experience in physician's specialty.

Must possess:

California Physician’s License

DEA Certificate

AHA -BLS Certification

Most possess board certification in area of training or being board eligible at the time of employment.

Authoritative knowledge of the principles, practice, and techniques in the physician's specialty.

Interests in the research potential inherent in physician's specialty highly desirable.
