The Employee Relations Specialist plays a crucial role in fostering a positive and productive work environment by managing employee relations matters and promoting a harmonious relationship between employees and the organization. This position is responsible for handling employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions while ensuring compliance with company policies, employment laws, and regulations. The Employee Relations Specialist collaborates closely with HR Business Partners, managers, and other stakeholders to address employee concerns, mitigate risks, and enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage employee relations issues, including but not limited to grievances, disputes, complaints, and disciplinary actions.

· Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints or allegations, maintaining confidentiality and integrity throughout the process.

· Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters, interpreting company policies and procedures, as well as relevant employment laws and regulations.

· Develop and implement strategies and programs to foster a positive work environment and improve employee relations.

· Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolutions between employees or between employees and management.

· Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, ensuring fair and consistent treatment while adhering to company policies and legal requirements.

· Collaborate with HR Business Partners and legal counsel to address complex employee relations issues and mitigate risks to the organization.

· Conduct training sessions or workshops for managers and employees on topics related to employee relations, conflict resolution, and effective communication.

· Monitor trends and patterns in employee relations issues, analyzing data to identify root causes and recommend proactive measures for improvement.

· Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations records and documentation.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or related field. (Master's degree preferred)

· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in employee relations, HR, or related field.

· In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices related to employee relations.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct thorough investigations and make sound decisions.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with employees at all levels of the organization.

· Proven mediation and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain neutral and objective in challenging situations.

· Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

· Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Professional certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
