Job Description
Objective of the Position: Responsible for performing a wide variety of facility-related duties to ensure building and grounds are maintained.
Essential Accountabilities:
Clean and lubricate shaft, bearing, gear, and other parts of machinery
Dismantle defective equipment and install new or repaired parts.
Listen for unusual sounds to detect malfunction and discuss machine operation with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair.
Responsible for maintaining 5S in department and periodically participating with audit process.
Supports and promotes ENA core values, Environmental, Health and Safety Policy and Quality Policy.
Visually inspect and test equipment and document maintenance activities.
Secondary Accountabilities:
Conduct all business-related activities for, and on the behalf of, Eberspaecher within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements.
Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Eberspaecher Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements.
Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and follows all ENA polices related to TS16949 and ISO 14001; looks for way to improve and promote quality.
Other duties as assigned.
Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from 2 year-college or technical school; two years related experience and/or training in building maintenance and repair experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have knowledge of primary electrical systems, compressed air and dryer systems, and gas and exhaust systems.
Must have experience in HVAC systems and the ability to maintain these systems.
Certification or training in HVAC, building electrical and pneumatic systems preferred.
Technical Expertise:
Must be able to perform general building maintenance and repairs including, but not limited to, carpentry, painting, drywall repairs, basic plumbing, basic lock smiting, HVAC service and basic electrical work.
Must be able to install and maintain mechanical and electrical systems, Low Voltage Electrical systems and High voltage Electrical Wiring.
Lead and perform equipment preventative maintenance task on all facility equipment and systems.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel Word, Outlook.
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
