Job Description
The Client Account Specialist (CAS) is a key role within the Signarama store. The CAS is the voice of the customer in the store and is responsible for making sure each customer’s work is completed accurately, on time, and ensure that our customer experience is consistently positive. The CAS is a combination of an inside salesperson and a customer service expert.
The CAS manages all inbound calls as well as walk-in prospects and clients, in a courteous and professional manner. Coordinate and execute in-house marketing programs. Demonstrate a professional image of the Signarama brand at all times.
Duties may also include some tasks, which could prepare the job holder to become the office/store manager in the future. The CAS is also responsible for daily customer follow up including notifying them when jobs are complete, obtaining approval on custom designs, and accounts payable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain our award winning customer service attitude
Respond efficiently to all walk-in customers and telephone inquiries to determine product needs, provide recommendations and quotes and assist with the order process
Greet customers and answer phones in a professional and knowledgeable manner
Assure customer satisfaction
Process all work orders accurately and help obtain customer approval
Obtain at least 50% down payment and payment in full upon completion with every order
Accurately complete Counter Forms, quotes and invoices
Work closely with the Production Area to answer any questions they may have concerning current work orders
Maintain a good working relationship with vendors to obtain quotes and follow up on orders in process
Make warm calls to existing customers to generate new business
Maintain and update lists of prospective customers and referrals
Implement effective marketing strategies within the store
Support CEO as needed with reports, invoices and paperwork
Cross train in other areas of the store to maintain a fully functioning store at all times
Maintain an organized, clean and professional store appearance at all times
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be computer knowledgeable and have experience with basic programs including the Windows Operating System, the Microsoft Office Suite and web browsing
Must be proficient in English usage including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and proofreading
Must be able to do basic arithmetic
Possess a good understanding of basic sales and telemarketing tactics
Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, as needed, in order to effectively serve customers
Must be able to use the computer and telephone for long periods of time.
ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE SKILLS:
Ability to speak Spanish - a plus
Business uses of social media channels including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
