Administrator I - Night Dispatcher

Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are looking for an Administrator I - Night Dispatcher to join our team. This role plays a critical part in planning, scheduling, and dispatching our customer's freight, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. As the primary point of contact for our valued Independent Contractors, this position is responsible for providing exceptional support to drivers, addressing inquiries, and monitoring freight movement to enhance customer satisfaction.

**Core Duties & Responsibilities:**

- Build/Upload delivery manifests in RF (scanner) guns

- Prepare delivery manifest and Bill of Lading paperwork

- Reconcile outbound delivery freight

- Oversee PM Dispatch

- Monitor dispatch times and communicate with drivers when necessary

- Notify stakeholders of any service delays via email

- Perform general office duties and assist with loadout functions

- Secure trailers on the yard

- Conduct driver check-ins and provide general customer service

- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred

- Prior experience in dispatching

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in using computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite

- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to customer service

- Must be 18 years or older
