Aronimink Golf Club seeks qualified individuals interested in working in an upscale hospitality environment. You will be crucial in preparing our event spaces for members and guests. You will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and breaking down event spaces, ensuring they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Banquet Houseman Functions:

Prepare event spaces according to banquet event orders (BEOs) and diagrams, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and other decorations as required.

Safely transport and set up audiovisual equipment, furniture, and other event-related items as needed.

Ensure cleanliness and organization of event spaces throughout events, including periodic cleaning and replenishment of supplies.

Provide assistance to banquet staff and event organizers during events, including altering set ups and assisting in any last minute items.

Efficiently breakdown event spaces following the conclusion of events, returning furniture and equipment to storage areas and ensuring proper disposal of waste and recycling.

Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling of equipment and chemicals, to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Work collaboratively with other banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and managers, to ensure seamless execution of events and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications:

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform strenuous tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate setup according to specifications and to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards throughout events.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and interact professionally with guests and colleagues.

Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the demands of the event schedule.

Previous experience in banquet setup, event coordination, or related hospitality roles preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided for motivated candidates.

Essential Requirements:

· Must be at least 18 years old

· High School Diploma or Equivalent

· Possess basic knowledge of excellent service standards as well as etiquette.

· Possess good communication and guest relation skills.

· Available to work weekends, evening shifts, and major holidays

· Mandatory compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, policies, and rules

· Regular and predictable attendance.

· Arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance at all times

· Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, carrying, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.

· Able to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance and in excess of 50 pounds with assistance

· Must be able to multi-task several different actions at once.

· Must be able to follow directions, read, and write

· Experience with a full-service country club operation preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
