Civmec is actively looking for talented individuals with expertise in payroll for the role of Senior Payroll Officer at our Corporate Offices in Henderson. In this role, you will collaborate with the Payroll Manager to handle crucial tasks involved in processing our weekly and monthly payrolls. We welcome applications from both Senior and Officer-level professionals in payroll. Join us in this dynamic position where your skills and experience will make a meaningful impact on our business.

The Role
This role will consist of the below duties and responsibilities:
Enter new & update existing employees onto payroll systems
Understand and utilize workplace agreements for wage and salaried employees.
Assist with payroll and EOY reconciliations.
Reconciliation of annual leave, long service leave, sick leave, redundancy and productivity accruals as required.
Prepare, calculate and reconcile weekly and monthly payments for wage and salary based staff
Assist with general payroll enquiries.
Maintain current award updates and payroll adjustments.
Reconcile weekly PAYG tax payments.
Calculate and process termination payments for employees.
Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as required.
Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed.
About You

Previous demonstrated experience in a Senior Payroll position
Demonstrated experience within the Construction Industry
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Intermediate to advance MS Excel skills
Working knowledge of EBA interpretation, FWA and ATO relevant legislation.
Strong focus on delivering a high level of customer service
Previous experience with SAP/ Success Factors is highly desirable
