Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a skilled RN First Assist (RNFA) to join our Cardiovascular OR Team. In this role, you will provide essential clinical expertise to ensure top-quality, efficient care in a high-acuity environment. We are a dedicated team that supports one another and are eager to welcome a remarkable professional like you who shares our commitment to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of intra-operative patients.
Assist surgeons during operative procedures.
Maintain and review patients' records, including test results.
Administer medications as per physician orders.
Qualifications:
Must hold a valid Florida Registered Nurse or ARNP license or possess appropriate compact licensure (if holding a compact license, an active FL RN license is required within 90 days of hire).
Graduate of an accredited program recognized by CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) and the State of Florida Surgical Assistant Program, or Medical School Graduate, or Allied Health professional with 2250 hours of surgical rotation completed.
Current Certified First Assistant (CFA) with 350 cases completed and two years of experience within the last four years.
Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Current Certification as First Assistant (CFA).
Strong critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Proficient in PC skills.
