Monuments Academy in Brian Head, UT is looking to hire full-time Residential Mentors. Do you enjoy making a difference in the lives of teens? Do you like coaching or mentoring? Are you ready to be a part of something bigger? If so, please read on.

This Residential Mentor position earns a competitive starting wage of $16/hour. Full-time employees are eligible for dental, health, and vision insurance. As well as the opportunity to earn performance bonuses semi-annually, PTO, paid holidays, and 401k.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESIDENTIAL MENTOR

As a Residential Mentor, you are responsible for fostering relationships, guiding adventure outings, and upholding consistent program expectations with adolescents in a therapeutic residential setting. Our Mentors are with the students of Monuments Academy 24/7 and are a crucial aspect to the student's daily lives.. Mentors provide support to the students, maintain a safe atmosphere, acknowledge 'wins', and lead by example on setting appropriate boundaries.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR RESIDENTIAL MENTOR

20+ years of age

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to remain in control during stressful situations, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Flexibility and the ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment.

Understanding and practicing appropriate boundaries is essential.

Valid Driver's License

Must be able to pass driving tests and remain up to date on required driving courses.

This is an entry level position and no previous residential mentoring experience is required. We will give you all the training and knowledge you need to succeed! Do you have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal? Do you enjoy building relationships with people? Are you team-oriented? Do you like working with teenagers? If so, you might just be perfect for this Residential Mentor position!
