As a Sr. Project Manager, you will make vital contributions to the Advanced Vision Front-End and New Product Development (NPD) team to advance patient care through innovation. You will work with cross-functional teams and Suppliers to develop robust Software and Hardware solutions that meet or exceed all product requirements.

This position places an emphasis on working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to develop sophisticated medical devices. Candidates must be self-motivated, independent and have an eagerness to learn and work as a team, and a desire to thrive in a dynamic environment. In this position, you are expected to demonstrate core Project Management and Team Leadership skills and able to independently resolve intra-team problems and communicate broadly across development teams and associated management.

In this role you will:

Develop and own the cross-functional timeline for the new product development process, including: Feasibility, Design, Verification, Validation, Product development, prototyping, quality and regulatory documentation.

Lead project teams and work with management to resolve resource gaps.

Lead the Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Stand-ups and Retrospectives.

Identify critical paths and roadblocks within the project and offer solutions to roadblocks.

Provide leadership and guidance to team members.

Learn the Design Control process and work with your Quality representative to stay compliant to our Quality Management System.

Manage project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques

Communicate project status to all project stakeholders - Including project meeting minutes, dashboards and presentations to management.

Define key project constraints such as scope, schedule, budget, human and equipment resources and risks and clearly communicate roles, expectations and accountabilities to the project team on a regular basis.

Required:

A minimum of 5-10 years experience in Product Development.

A minimum of 4+ years experience in Project Management or Project Leadership role.

At least 2 years of experience working with Medical Device development or execution teams.

Proficiency utilizing the MS Office Suite (Project, Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, SharePoint).

Problem-solving ability and excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

The ability to work independently, provide multiple solutions to problems and effectively integrate systems.

Well organized, self-motivated, upbeat, creative, and resourceful.

Demonstrate strong leadership, management, and collaboration qualities.

Proficiency in written and verbal communication.

Preferred:

Proficiency in the SmartSheet application.

Proficiency in the AirTable application.

Knowledge in Surgical Imaging and/or Multi-Spectral Imaging

Knowledge in General Surgery – common procedures, visualization of tumors, critical structures and perfusion / ischemia.

Demonstrated success in leading a project from concept through market introduction.

Experience with software/electronics systems and/or AI algorithms.

A Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).
