Location: Layton, Utah, United States (Hybrid Office Environment)

Job Description:

As an Entry-Level Contract Compliance Auditor, you will play a crucial role in assisting our experienced audit team to identify contractual discrepancies and recover overbillings for our clients. You will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing contracts, invoices, financial records, and other relevant documents to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions. Through your meticulous auditing skills, you will help uncover missed credit opportunities, erroneous billing, and non-compliance issues, contributing to the overall financial health of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct contract compliance audits by reviewing and analyzing contracts, invoices, and financial data to identify potential discrepancies.

Verify compliance with contractual terms, pricing agreements, discount structures, and other financial provisions.

Collaborate with the senior audit team to develop audit plans, perform fieldwork, and prepare audit reports.

Identify and quantify financial errors, overpayments, and underpayments, and assist in calculating potential recoveries.

Communicate audit findings in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in written reports.

Assist in building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service throughout the audit process.

Stay updated with industry developments and best practices related to contract compliance auditing.

Maintain accurate audit documentation and ensure data integrity throughout the auditing process.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex information in a clear and understandable manner.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.

Basic knowledge of auditing principles, contract law, and accounting concepts is a plus (but not mandatory).

Previous experience in auditing or a related field is beneficial but not required as this is an entry-level position.
