Litigation Paralegal

Trial Paralegal (3+ years of experience)

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Trial Paralegal with a minimum of 3 years of litigation experience to join our boutique law firm. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling the full life cycle of litigation cases, including discovery, pleadings, deadlines, e-filings, deposition notices, and more. This role offers a great opportunity for mentorship and growth in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

- Manage litigation cases from start to finish, working closely with attorneys

- Handle drafting pleadings, discovery, organizing, and bate stamping for business cases

- Experience with business litigation and some med mal practice/probate litigation preferred

- Interact with court personnel and maintain case deadlines

- Proactively manage case files and ensure compliance with litigation rules

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in litigation, preferably in business litigation and some med mal practice/probate litigation

- Proficiency with ProLaw or similar case management software

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Additional Details:

- Support 2 attorneys: 1 senior counsel with fewer cases and larger intensity, and 1 associate probate litigation

- Flexible working hours: Start at 8:30 am or 9:00 am, with a standard 8-hour workday

- Discretionary bonus at the end of the year

- Salary range: Up to 65K, commensurate with experience

- No overtime required, with billing requirement set at 750/year or 62.5/month
