Cloud and Security Engineer

Our esteemed Princeton, NJ client has an immediate need for a Cloud and Security Engineer to work alongside team members in developing, deploying, and enhancing data-intensive applications and processes. This individual will work as part of a small cross-functional team to aid in product design and iterative development and support the mission of powering policy-relevant research by building shared infrastructure. This job requires an individual with extensive knowledge and experience in their field who can work independently on assignments with guidance on unusual problems and supervision on proposed project plans and will use advanced techniques. This role primarily focuses on designing and managing infrastructure and ensuring the security platform is maintained by writing code to automate security processes. The ideal candidate should have experience with Terraform, PowerShell, and Bicep and be capable of leading teams to modernize platforms and support strategic users and stakeholders.

Please note this is a fully onsite position in Princeton, NJ. The range for this position is $140,000 - $160K/yr.

Position Overview:

Cloud Engineering

Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.

Develop and implement solutions using Tensorflow/Bicep for machine learning tasks.

Optimize systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Deploy and manage PyTorch/TensorFlow workloads on CPU and GPU targets.

Implement observability across platforms for application monitoring and alerting.

Ensure internal and external data security, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.

Operate within environments compliant with PCI, SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO27000, or equivalent regulations.

Proficiency in Terraform, Bicep, or PowerShell.

Extensive experience with Azure cloud services.

Familiarity with data system design and optimization while staying within budget constraints.

Prior experience in deploying PyTorch/TensorFlow workloads on CPU and GPU targets.

Ability to implement observability solutions for application monitoring and alerting.
