Power BI Analyst

3 month Contract with possible extension or Contract-To-Hire

Hybrid remote schedule that requires 2 days a week onsite in either Orlando, FL or Atlanta, GA.

Role Overview:

As a Power BI Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our data analysis and reporting efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, particularly with Power BI, and preferably a background in finance. This role involves assisting with headcount reporting, dashboard reporting, KPI reporting, and the enhancement of our client's finance dashboard. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating items in Power BI and guiding team members in effectively utilizing Power BI for their tasks.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with various teams to understand data requirements and business needs

Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for headcount reporting, dashboard reporting, and KPI reporting

Revamp existing finance dashboard to enhance visualization and functionality

Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights

Provide training and support to team members on Power BI usage and best practices

Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and dashboards

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a data analyst, with a focus on Power BI

Strong understanding of finance principles and terminology (preferred)

Proficiency in creating reports and dashboards using Power BI

Ability to translate complex data into easy-to-understand visualizations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field (preferred)
