Litigation Attorney

Our client, an Oakland litigation boutique, is seeking a 2-4 year associate to join their dynamic and growing team.

This is an egalitarian firm where associates take ownership of cases - draft dispositive motions, interface with clients, take depositions, lead settlement negotiations, and deliver oral arguments.

The best personality fit is collegial, down-to-earth. They hire associates with good judgement who they can eventually see as partners.

Work/life balance and firm support - 1600-1800 annual billable hours. Staff are encouraged to attend to life outside of work and pro-bono activities are also supported.

Salary:

200,000 - 265,000, depending on experience + annual bonus.

Requirements:

JD and current licensed member of CA state bar

2-6 years of litigation experience that includes the courtroom and taking depositions

Excellent writing skills

Ambition to grow your career and be a part of a growing team
