Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Veterinarian at Beaver Brook Animal Hospital. The Veterinarian will be responsible for providing medical care, performing surgeries, conducting examinations, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medications, and communicating with clients. Additionally, the Veterinarian will collaborate with the veterinary team to develop treatment plans and ensure the well-being of all animals under our care.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge and proficiency in veterinary medicine and procedures

Ability to conduct thorough examinations and diagnose illnesses

Experience in performing surgeries and medical procedures

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and staff

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals

Ability to work well in a team environment

Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Connecticut

Previous experience in a veterinary hospital is preferred

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
