Deputy Chief Information Security Officer

Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), this role will provide advice to this company, help set security goals and standards, and offer expertise to the IT team in implementing technology to keep our systems and data safe from hackers. Working closely with the CISO, this role will ensure the IT team is well-equipped to support the company's security needs.

This is an onsite role in their Richmond, VA office.

The ideal candidate will have:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or any related IT field

10+ years professional experience in IT security

2-5 years leadership or management in supervisory role

Strong background in Information Security tools and techniques in complex security environments

Leading teams in areas of data networking, virtualization, firewalls, end-point protection and cloud computing

Leadership experience serving both B2B and B2C

Experience working in federal government at the local, state or federal government highly desired
