Job Summary
The Corporate Engineering Manager is an individual contributor that directs and manages the execution of corporate capital and operating expense projects in support of site operations to fulfill the strategic goals and objectives of the organization. The role exercises multiple engineering disciplines including Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical engineering. This position has high visibility to all senior and executive management within the company and is therefore expected to work independently and in a matrix organization with Commercial, Operating and Finance leaders.
This position will report to our Corporate Headquarters in Roswell, GA. We are a hybrid work environment, in office 3 days a week.
Job Responsibilities
Direct resources to manage both small and large investment projects
Develop Scope of Work and specifications as needed to effectively manage projects
Create and oversee capital budgets, project plans and schedules
Leads teams in the procurement of capital equipment, solutions and processes
Provide technical analysis and contribute expertise to solve problems
Report status of projects and proactively manage problems to successful completion
Collaborates with other team members and departments
Communicate both up and down in the organization to non-technical stakeholders
Forge and maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers
This role requires an ability to draw on multiple engineering disciplines including Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineering
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Civil, Construction or Mechanical Engineering
Specific experience with machine foundation design and building construction is desirable
8+ years of relevant work experience
Strong experience with engineering design tools, AutoCAD or equivalent
Ability to travel - frequency is project based and could exceed 30% at times
