Telephony Engineer

Technical Summary

The IT Support Technician will be responsible for the proper maintenance of the LAN, Wireless, and WAN voice and data networks. The IT Support Technician will provide Level-2 support and troubleshooting to resolve Network and Telephony issues. The IT Support Technician will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operation, reliability, and integrity of the enterprise voice communications network including, but not limited to client hardware and software issues related to Network/Telephony. This includes installing, maintaining, and managing all data network/telephony equipment such as phones, routers, LAN switches, wireless, Cisco VoIP, servers, backup systems, network management and diagnostic tools, etc. The IT Support Technician will also assist with network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations. The IT Support Technician will perform basic inventory management processes and create equipment Return Material Authorizations (RMA’s) and track these through to problem resolution.

Salary range $80,800 - $104,500 (yearly est.)

Budgeted/Expected Offer Range $80,800 - $95,000

Qualifications:

Minimum two (2) years IT Support experience in Network/Telephony.
