Position Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Position Overview: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Periodic inspection of machinery, function, and process quality.
Troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment such as motors, pumps, pneumatics, and production machines and equipment using hand tools, and precision measuring and testing devices.
Perform maintenance, improvements, training, and repair of process equipment.
Suggest and evaluate new ways of working, layouts, tools, to increase productivity.
Responsibilities Include:
Proposal and implementation of technical improvements and optimization of equipment
Training of employees with respect to machine operation, set-up, etc.
Conduct regular inspections (boiler, air compressor, machine calibration etc.)
Responsible for cleanliness of tools, maintenance shop, spare part storage and all other technical areas
Identification of hazards, implementation of safety measures and compliance OSHA regulations
The job holder might be assigned to other tasks and duties needed and if necessary
Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude – drilling, tapping, installation, tuning, adjusting, torque specs, etc.
Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Proficient Electrical knowledge (230-480v 3ph, 120vAC, 24vDC)
Elementary Pneumatics and Hydraulics knowledge
Preferred steam and boiler operation knowledge
Basic VFD/PLC knowledge
Outside-of-the box thinking
Ability to use power tools.
Basic knowledge of office and internet software
Self-starter able to work well as a team and independently.
Good verbal and written communication
Forklift operation
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
3-4 years working in an industrial maintenance/repair position.
2-3 years machine operation
Associate or high school degree in an applicable technical field
Flexibility to work odd hours including weekends with short notice.
Ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours.
Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to bend, crouch, reach, and crawl.
Ability to work in hot and humid environments
