Sr. Full Stack Java Developer (W2 only)

Important notes:

The role is a 3-month contract with the potential to become a permanent position. Hence, our client is looking for a W2 candidate who can convert to a full-time employee without needing visa sponsorship.

This is a hybrid onsite role (3 days a week) and our client prefers a local candidate who can come for an in-person interview and be onsite from day 1.

Interview:

1 round in-person interview in McLean office. There will be a coding test.

Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team working on an Integrated Loan Servicing (ILS) product. This role involves developing and maintaining a loan servicing product that supports monthly reporting for loans and bonds.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain features for the ILS product using Angular 10 and above. The team uses Angular 15 currently.

Work extensively with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines and deploy services on AWS EKS and OpenShift.

Engage in hands-on development, implementing stories and features.

Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Develop and test your own code using tools like Cucumber and Cypress.

Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless integration and deployment of services.

Requirements:

Proficient in both Back-end Java Development and Front-end Angular development (50-50 split would be ideal).

Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and MongoDB.

Familiarity with automated testing tools like Cucumber and Cypress.

Experience with Jenkins, AWS EKS, and OpenShift.

Knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL is a plus.

Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
