Commercial Insurance Account Executive

Responsibilities:

Manager & retain a large book of business - approx 3M revenue - by providing excellent customer service, a proactive renewal process, negotiating with carriers & underwriters, utilizing internal resources, and by collaborating with other internal teams.

Strong focus on relationship management with clients. Must be comfortable leading client and carrier meetings & having continuous, clear, and professional verbal and written communication.

Issuing certificates, auto id cards, processing endorsement requests, policy checking, renewal pricing, billing issues, invoicing, and contract reviews

Properly utilize & direct assistant account managers to assist with above tasks.

Address any deficiencies and anticipate client needs with a quick turnaround time.

Confidently & accurately answer client situational questions with respect to insurance coverage and advise about uncovered exposures as applicable.

Responsible for learning, understanding, and adhering to our internal timelines, protocols, and workflows.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree

Active P&C License. Designations are a plus.

10+ years of P&C experience. Non-profit experience is a plus.

Forward-thinking with a strong sense of urgency.

Experienced with Agency Management Systems, preferably Applied EPIC

Highly comfortable with using various types of computer technology in a face-paced environment
