Seasonal Camp Counselor

Apply Job Type Temporary Description Rate: $14.50 hourly Status: Seasonal * 17 years of age or older/*16 years of age if prior volunteer junior counselor and letter(s) of recommendation * Minimum of 30 hours per week * High school senior or college student preferred * Ability to follow orders, maintain records * Knowledge of rules of sports and games * Must have knowledge in areas of cultural arts * Must attend Metro Day Camp Orientation & in house Orientation * Efficiently perform the directions from all supervisors * If Special Needs Leader: Provide 1 on 1 care for special needs camper and may be required to rotate with various special needs between both camp locations with both inside & outside work required * Vacations and school trips are not considered a valid excuse for missing work, so consider this if you want to accept this position * MUST PASS POLICE RECORD CHECK * NOTES: All hours and schedules may be subject to change based on City and/or department needs Requirements Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Disabled/Veteran
