Location: Onsite - Marlborough, Massachusetts (01752)

Type: 6+ Contract with expectations to extend for the qualified candidate - (NO C2C OR THIRD PARTY)

Pay Rate – Negotiable depending on DIRECT-related experience

Work Authorization - Must be able to work in the U.S. with approved authorization status

Role Summary:

Lead DeltaV Automation Engineer will provide technical leadership in the design, development, programming, verification, and delivery of a connectivity solution for DeltaV process automation systems. This role will identify the project/product requirements and develop design specifications for DeltaV process systems and all components for process automation systems, including software.

Responsibilities:

Generate detailed requirements for connectivity solution for DeltaV systems

Perform the detailed design for projects by converting engineering and system design into drawings, control panel designs, and installation details consistent with the specification and functional descriptions

Establish test plans to determine compliance with functional and design requirements

Establish methods and processes to deploy, install, and configure customer specific control and network strategies

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience at biotech/pharma commercial manufacturing (GMP) facility in automation role

Global project experience

Ability to develop simple approaches to solve complex design problems

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related STEM Major

8+ years’ of process automation experience

Demonstrated experience in the programming of Emerson PLC/DCS systems

Demonstrated experience with DeltaV v14 and newer.

Demonstrated experience with hardware and networking design of DeltaV Systems

Comprehensive understanding of and strong hands-on development experience with application development and system/hardware integration

Knowledge of governing regulations, specifically 21 CFR part 11 and Eudralex Volume 4 Annex 11

Experienced with stage gate engineering design processes

Work Authorization:
