Design Engineer

Job Title: Engineer I

Location: Riverview, FL (33758) -- onsite five days a week

Duration: 12-month contract-to-hire

Interview Process: One round interview onsite

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering related field: Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial engineering

Experience working with engineering software or similiar work/school related experience: AutoCAD, CAD, blue prints, schematics, Solidworks, GIS, fielding, technician, design, troubleshooting, etc.

0-3 years of work experience

Coachable eager to learn and pick up on new skills

Passion or interest in engineering design work relating to the distribution industry

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Insight Global is looking for Entry-Level Engineers located in Tampa, FL. This person will be supporting projects relating to distribution design for their end clients within the utilities industry. Design work will pertain replacements of poles, power lines, transmission boxes, and single target work. This person must have an eagerness and ability to learn new skills relating to design layouts and software tools for the creation of these designs.

Compensation: $23/hr to $26/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
