Sr. Subcontracts Specialist

Perform subcontract management functions in support of U.S. Government and Commercial Contracts Solicit subcontractors, supporting various award types and take a lead role on fact finding, proposal analysis and risk assessment with guidance from peers.

Manage tactical and strategic aspects of subcontract relationship, which include interface with Program Management, Finance and Contracts. Issue modifications, prepare Subcontractor correspondence and issue Stop Work Orders.

Be the focal point for subcontractor performance. Includes: RFP generation, deliverables tracking, payment review and adherence to contractual terms; Purchase order placement and file maintenance; Subcontractor performance monitoring and completion assessments. Ability to develop sound business cases, and analyze data. Strong communication skills with a commitment to customer service.

Must be able to deploy a systematic approach to work and must have an aptitude for performing work in a timely and well-organized manner Be proactive in a very fast paced environment. Work with speed and agility yet be thorough, and drive tasks to completion.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree with 1-3 years of experience or High School diploma/equivalent with 5 years of experience in subcontracts management, contracts management, procurement including proposal price/cost analysis, Demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing priorities, deadlines in a fast paced environment Experience creating, negotiating and awarding both fixed price and cost type subcontracts Demonstrate working knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations Experience interfacing with internal and external customers and all levels of management Experience soliciting, evaluating and documenting cost and price proposals Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to learn and effectively apply new tools, processes and procedures Ability to attain Security Clearance, as required

Preferred Qualifications:

Currently hold Secret or Top-Secret Clearance Hybrid based in Cambridge, Massachusetts or Reston, Virginia. MUST BE A US CITIZEN.
