Visual Basic Developer

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) scripts to automate Excel tasks, enhance data processing, and streamline workflow efficiencies.

Collaborate with Java development team to integrate VBA solutions with existing Java applications or databases.

Design, implement, and troubleshoot VBA macros, user-defined functions, and Excel add-ins.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for VBA development.

Provide technical support and documentation for VBA scripts, ensuring smooth operation and easy maintenance.

Stay updated on VBA best practices, Excel functionalities, and industry trends to propose innovative solutions.

Assist in Java development tasks as needed, leveraging Java expertise to contribute to cross-functional projects.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in VBA programming, with demonstrated experience in developing Excel macros, user-defined functions, and add-ins.

Strong understanding of Excel features and functionality, including data manipulation, formulae, and data visualization.

Experience in integrating VBA solutions with Java applications or databases is highly desirable.

Knowledge of Java programming language and ability to collaborate effectively with Java development teams.

Problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Effective communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
