The Role

The Plant Human Resources Manager is responsible to lead Industrial Relations & Human Resource Function at SATS Food Solutions India. He / She has the overall responsibility and is accountable for the entire Human Resource Management in the Central Kitchen located in Bengaluru.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Industrial Relations

· Responsible & Accountable for Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, and grievance handling

· Responsible for Union Management, Wage Settlement, Contract Labour Management, Third-Party Employees and CSR.

· Keeping healthy liaison with govt., semi govt. authorities like Workmen’s Compensation Commissioner, Gram panchayat, Insurance, Police Station, P.F. Office, Factory Inspector, Labour Inspector, Local bodies etc.

Statutory Compliance

· Application of registration of Bangalore Central Kitchen under The Factories Act, 1948

· Responsible for Statutory Compliance of factories act and related Labour Laws like Prevention of Sexual Harassment Act, Maternity Benefits Act, Contract Labour Regulation and Abolition Act, Interstate Migrant Workmen Act etc.

· Manage & Maintain annual renewal of various registrations and licenses applicable to Bangalore Central Kitchen.

· Manage payroll, PF, ESIC and labour contractor registrations.

· Responsible for Effective Administration of Cafeteria Management, Transportation and Travel Management of Employees.

Human Capital Business Partnering

· Sourcing for vacant positions through various sources proper manpower planning, recruitment, and selection.

· New Joiner induction and on boarding formalities

· Implementation of HRMS/HRIS including Leave Management, Time and Attendance, LMS & Performance Management systems.

· Conduct Training Need Analysis (TNA), maintain Training Calendar and records on LMS and facilitate training programs.

· Guide department heads for development of leadership & people engagement, Organization Development, Systems & Processes

· Responsible for Leave Management, Time & Attendance data, employee data updation on the HRMS along with MIS reports.

· Employee Engagement e.g., Get-together, Annual Functions, Welfare Activities, Rewards & Recognition etc.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

· Master’s Degree (or) equivalent with specialization in Labor Studies or Human Resource Management

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

· Minimum 10 years of experience in managing HR & IR functions.

· Background in labor relations related to the private sector or public sector.

· Specific skills, such as negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and leadership

· Excellent verbal and written communications and strong interpersonal communications
