Foundry Production Engineer / Supervisor. At Vijay Spheroidal Private Limited, Peenya Bangalore.

We are seeking a supervisor to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in product on time delivery with superior quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for comprehensively understanding the value in all manufacturing processes, managing man, machine and input materials to ensure timely delivery of the foundry plant.

Qualification: BE Mechanical, BE Industrial Engineering, BE Metallurgy, BE Mechatronics or Related Field

Diploma candidates with good analytical capability will also be considered.

Experience: Freshers up to 6 years

The role you will play

Delivery

Actively involve and participate in production planning and material control (PPC) to take important decisions in regard to Batch, Bath, Shift Wise product planning.

Manage resources to deliver products.

Raw Material

Manpower

Machine upkeep and maintenance

Vendor Management and Development

Prepare and initiate a shift schedule on a weekly / daily basis.

Identify training needs, and initiate training to required roles to meet product delivery deadlines.

Own and update people skill matrix

Develop and maintain processes to capture plant OEE accurately.

Actively participate and drive OEE improvement action plan to realize improvement in plant effective capacity (Productivity) and efficiency.

Team Building

Lead team development activity, uplift team morale and create people's value beyond work / organization purview.

Enjoy collaboration and teamwork, Effectively communicate.

Lead by example, and drive organizational culture.

Lead by example towards establishing a process driven culture and growth mindset.

Present effectively to reporting heads, weekly achievements and coming week execution plans.

EHS and 5S.

Own and participate in EHS and 5S initiatives of the company.

Cost

Identify cost saving opportunities.

Drive cost saving action plan.

Build a cost sensitive culture (Kaizen) and create a continuous improvement culture regarding costs associated with manufacturing.
