BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Microsoft Azure - Systems Administrator to join our NATO SEASPARROW Project Office (NSPO) IT/IM Team.

Provision, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Azure resources and services, such as virtual machines, storage accounts, networking, backup, identity, and security.

Implement and enforce policies, standards, and best practices for Azure governance, cost management, and resource tagging.

Manage and automate Azure operations using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Azure Resource Manager templates, and Azure DevOps.

Integrate Azure services with Microsoft 365 GCC High and DoD environments, such as Azure Active Directory, Azure Information Protection, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Sentinel.

Collaborate with other IT teams and NSPO stakeholders to design, implement, and support Azure solutions that meet the business and security needs of the organization.

Stay updated on the latest Azure features, updates, and security recommendations for the GCC High and DoD clouds.

Support NSPO meetings with equipment set-up and IT support, onsite and internationally at venues.

Typical Education and Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

The successful candidate must have:

Current Secret US government clearance w/SSBI IAW DoD 8570.1.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

At least 2 years of experience as an Azure administrator, preferably in a GCC High or DoD cloud environment.

Azure Administrator Associate certification or equivalent.

A strong understanding of core Azure services, Azure workloads, security, and governance.

Knowledge of Azure Government, FedRAMP, and DoD cloud security and compliance requirements.

Experience with Azure security services, such as Azure Security Center, Azure Firewall, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Policy.

Experience with Azure management and automation tools, such as Azure Monitor, Azure Backup, Azure Automation, and Azure Lighthouse.

Proficient in PowerShell, Azure CLI, Azure portal, and Azure Resource Manager templates.

Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.

Ability to work as part of a team of Cisco Network, Developers, Cyber and Helpdesk teammates.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills and ability to work in a Multinational Environment.

Preferred Skills and Education

Azure Administrator with 5 years of hands-on experience administering Azure.

Previous experience with DoD cloud services.

Experienced in Fedramp/DISA approved products.

Experienced the APIs for Azure OpenAI.

Familiarity with ITAR and Export Control.
