Business Development: Automotive / Heavy / Industrial Engineering Services for US Market

Your Role:

Responsible for selling one or more of the following Engineering Services for the US Markets. Prospects and customers would belong to Software Companies and OEMs in one or more of the following verticals: Automotive, EVs, Off-Highway Vehicles, Trucks, Buses, Agricultural Equipment, Specialty Vehicles

Vehicle Product Engineering: New Product Development, Vehicle Electrification, Packing and Integration of Subsystems, Engineering Release and Change Management, Detailed CAD Development, Virtual Validation, Value Engineering

Automotive Software: Model Based Development, Cybersecurity, Functional Safety, ECU Measurement and Optimization, Infotainment, Test Automation and Execution

Prospecting: Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including online research, LinkedIn, lead generation tools, and networking

Research: Create Business process documents about the prospects

Calling: Reach out to prospects via phone and email to introduce our IT services & solutions and build initial interest

Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients

Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions in the CRM system

Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly leads quotas and targets

Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and market dynamics to adjust sales strategies accordingly

Sales Focus: Consultative sales focus with cross selling approach and general understanding of the market customers & competitors

New Opportunities: Look out for opportunities for business from an organization standpoint

with Sales Team on Prospect Handling: Follow up on scheduling the appointments with potential prospects

Follow-up with Prospect and Clients: Utilize phone and email to fix qualified appointments

Qualifications:

Education: B.Tech / B.E In Engineering; additional MBA preferred

Experience: 4-7 years of experience with Proven track record of success in inside sales. 3+ years’ experience selling Automotive/Heavy Engineering Services to U.S. and European customers

Domain Knowledge: Domain knowledge in Automotive and/or Heavy Engineering Services (Must Have)

Vertical Knowledge: Automotive, EVs, Off-Highway Vehicles, Trucks, Busses, Agricultural Equipment, Specialty Vehicles

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools

Self-motivated & goal-oriented

Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset

Knowledge of Digital Engineering services and outsourcing concepts is a plus
