Scope of Role-
The DVA Engineer is responsible for Dimensional Variation Analysis and Tolerance stack up for ongoing and new projects.
Knowledge / Experience: 2 to 6 Years
Must have software experience on VISVISA
Area of Responsibility:
DVA Engineer creates and maintains analysis models representing the assembly process, tolerances, and CAD data used for the virtual assembly of a vehicle.
He will be responsible for creating reports, communicating results, issues, and recommendations to the customer.
Job Requirements:
Should have experience in Body Components /Interior Trims/Exterior Trims Domains
Should have good working knowledge of GD&T & Tolerance Stack up Analysis
Should have good knowledge of GD&T Standard preferred ASME
Should have knowledge of 1D, 2D stack up & 3D dimensional variation analysis
Hannd on experience on Catia V5/Teamcenter Vis Mockup
Hand on Experience in variation analysis software VisVSA
Basic understanding of Kinematics
Basic understanding of CAD and Design for Manufacturing Knowledge of jigs & fixtures used in Body Area preferred
Essential:
Must have 2 years' experience in Dimensional Variation analysis domain with TC Vis VSA
Experience in using CATIA V 5/V6, Team Centre Engineering (TCE)
Working knowledge of GD&T & Tolerance Stack up Analysis
Successful history of delivery with in the automotive sector
Engineering knowledge of defined component(s) / system(s) design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements.
Excellent communications skills, ability to communicate at all levels
PC Literacy: Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc.
Qualification: BE/B. Tech in Mechanical/Production/ Automotive Engineering
