Position Summary:

A key role in the Enterprise Salesforce service, this candidate will work in a close-knit product focused team to deliver critical applications to BMS on the Salesforce platform. The successful candidate will have experience with multiple salesforce technologies and the capacity and opportunity to both learn and teach technologies and processes to other team members. The Salesforce Developer works closely with their Product Team peers, their Technical Lead, and the Enterprise Engineering Manager to ensure robust delivery according to an agile plan.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing customized solutions on the Salesforce platform

Understanding / Influencing user stories, product architecture, release roadmap, development tools and processes

Designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications in a close-knit product focused team environment.

Drive the automation of processes, develop new applications, build custom user interfaces to display and interact with Salesforce data using the Lightning Component Framework, advanced Visualforce, CSS, and JavaScript.

Contributing to timelines and development goals.

Unit Testing and coordinating with Testing resources.

Troubleshooting, Root cause identification, Support Case creation and remediation.

Review and contribution to SDLC technical documentation

Maintaining the security and integrity of all application software.

Qualifications & Experience:

4 to 6 plus years of experience in developing, designing, and customizing Salesforce applications (Health Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud preferred).

Experience developing / designing custom solutions using Salesforce Lightning Web Components, Apex, Aura Components, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.

Experience in Salesforce configurations like Flows

Experience using Flosum or Capado for source control / release management.

Experience in Salesforce integrations with external systems via API or other.

Exposure to / experience with Cloud services from AWS, Azure, GCP.

Understanding of web development technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Knowledge of data migration and data management tools and techniques, such as Data Loader and Data Import Wizard.

Experience in Agile methodologies and project management tools, such as JIRA.

Strong understanding of Salesforce security features and best practices, including role hierarchy, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.

Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Salesforce Certified Administrator, and Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requires thorough knowledge of the principles and concepts of a discipline and developed knowledge of other related disciplines, typically gained through a university degree and 5-8 years of experience.

Persuades and negotiates effectively with stakeholders in being able to coordinate actions for achieving the desired outcome.

Articulates and presents complex information clearly and concisely across all levels. Demonstrates abilities and knowledge in being able to explain and present complex topics clearly

Participates in decision making and brings experiences and ideas to achieve team objectives.
