Human Resources Generalist

Leading building trades contractor has an immediate need for a Human Resources Generalist with excellent communication and organizational skills. In addition to HR responsibilities, this position will spend about half of the time recruiting new employees.

Company has been in business for 10+ years and is continuing to expand and thrive. This is an excellent opportunity with a reputable, family-oriented company. Plenty of room to grow financially and professionally. Position is primarily office based, however; you will have to opportunity to work from home on occasion if needed.

This position will work closely with and report directly to the VP of HR who has a great disposition and is an excellent resource that will help you learn and grow!

Preferably we are looking for someone with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of HR/Recruiting experience working for a small-mid-sized company. Position will be responsible for assisting with new hire orientation and on-boarding, benefits administration, and payroll compliance. Must Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, and new technologies in human resources and employment law. Position also will be responsible for handling HR related inquiries from employees.
